Samurai Model complete

Completed Samurai 3d model
Model done, also turn table completed. 
I'll post the youtube link and the wiremesh image later on.
I really learned a lot completing this, I am glad it came out ok.
Started working on another model of a "Minotaur", modelling is well 60% done so busy with that.

Cartoon model!! Chibi Rika!!

Working on a toon model at the moment. Honestly it came out better than expected, though the face could use some work. Texturing is complete yet, to much specular and no bump.
Thinking of rigging it if I find the time.

Dai update of SpiderXWoman


Picked up on modelling of the SpiderXWomen model after abandoning it for a while & kinda rushed through as ideas kept on flowing in.
Here's a AO-WIP render

Its still not completed yet a few more things or eye to add and then it will head towards unwrapping.
Planning on sculpting and adding a normal map for bump feature, but havent gotten used to sculpting yet.

Thompson 1928 Sub-Machine gun model

Working on a Thompson 1928 Sub-Machine gun, modelling part done, texturing almost done.
Pretty satisfied with it, also cooked up a cool indoor scene for it.
Default metallic texture applied to it in the pic. Unwrapping was a pain, but it all worked out cool-ly.
Will post an update of the Samurai girl warrior model in the coming week. Things are going pretty fast at the moment. Ahaha!! Sometimes I wish time would stop just for me.

Katana Model

Modelled a katana for the Samurai warrior =D. Here it is 
The lighting is a bit dull, because I havent changed it. The lighting is for the entire model so just the render of the sword looks dull. 
If you look closely there is a scabbard in the background =P

Kimono Dress: WIP

Update on the samurai character, working on texturing parts of the dress at the moment.
Here's a quick update pic
I love this, spent so much time working on a design theme. Wanted to use the Sakura flowers at all costs, had a lot of wasted designs. Took a break from it to decide and finally settled on the above one.
Still need to add some more cloth pieces, making them are simple enough.
Bye for now, will post more renders of the sword and model with textures later on.

Mega-Gorilla model WIP

Started working on a fantasy/mecha Gorilla character. Here's what it looks like
The modelling part is almost done as you can see, still the part of detailing the body and arms/legs remain.
Thinking of turning it into a mecha model or something with huge guns on its back and a full body armor equipped to it.
It wont be a normal Gorilla thats for sure XD

Another quick update!!

Modelling a female character is going smoothly here's the WIP
Stuck on the texturing the skin part, just started it. I will change the design of the kimono after a while, this looks cool for now. Have modeled a katana for it, will post renders of it some time later.

Working on the lighting and comping a BG with the model. Here's a WIP ....
Lighting is a pain though, I really hate long render times. Need to adjust the the above comp maybe blur it and add rim lights and some noise to make it look more integrated. Thinking of turning it into a movie poster, titled
"THE RISE OF TYGOR"
You gotta admit its a good idea for a movie XD
While modelling this, I ended up imagining a back story of the character, wonder why I did that
And Oh! Yeah

WIP: Tygor rendered image

Rendered image of Tygor in spotlight 
Its looking Ok-ish I am not entirely satisfied by it, still a lot of work could be done on the texture and colors. Moving the arms from the default T-pose ruined the texture.
not finished with this post will edit later......
Edit: Added the remaining textures & this is what looks like. 


Rendered in passes since I can get control over what the BG would look like. The model isnt smoothed so the bump map details aren't popping out.
Have to check out the Reflection pass and Specular pass, those would make a huge difference to the scene in terms of details.
 Thinking the BG should be a Rocky Background, this can be achieved with Procedural texturing.
Hopefully the fully Smoothed model will look a lot better, Peace guys will add more stuff used in it later.

Tygor textured almost .... hehe


Color map and bump map are done,now to work on specular, wont take long though. Texture was painted in PS, seams were a handful to fix. But most of the seams gonna be hidden under the armor, clothes etc.
Modelling of jaw completed, not the best but it will do, will post an image of it soon.

Update on Tygo =D

Work is going on at full throttle.
I ended doing the texturing by myself, havent finished though, seams are visible =( 
All my friends are too laid back and dont take stuff seriously, disappointing. 
Thinking of adding a normal map from zbrush and hiding the seams in Bodypaint. Also fur how da'eff do I add that, my minds exploding right now.
 Gah! tons of stuff to do, hopefully my PC can handle them XP

Spanish football stuff

Made some stuff based on the Spanish colors during the world cup in 2010. Still cant believe how the 'effing awesomely won that. I was rooting for them since 2006... lol.
When I first got my PC one of the first games I was introduced to was Pro-Evolution Soccer 2004, I used to play exhibition matches between national teams and for some reason I always  got good results with Spain, even though they werent a major force back then. Became a fan of their team and style of play since then =D

Unwrapping a female body

Was thinking of doing unwrapping for the Tiger model, but had to postpone that & unwrap the female body that I had with me, as an assignment.
This is the model I have been working on for quite sometime, progress is slow as I cant decide what to add for clothing'n stuff. I think the hair turned out great. Found a pretty awesome way for modelling long braided hair, thanks to some net searching.
Here's what the unwrap looks like ...
I am pretty sure I got few parts right. Lots of stretch near the chest area, gah!! I dont wanna create a seam there. The model is gonna be clothed so I wouldnt worry too much.
I am really bad at painting in PhotoShop, I am worried about how I am gonna paint the skin the way my instructor did.
Thinking maybe I should get my friend to do it, whose interested in PS painting. Gah! But as a modeller I feel other guys wouldnt do justice to my models =(.
I am growing attached to my models  T_T* sniff

Happy Halloween and ...

Happy Birthday to myself XD. Yeah it falls on Halloween, but no one celebrates that where I came from, though I take pride in the fact that my Birthday falls on that day.
Now for the business, updates for my Halloween scary model will be coming up soon. Down with cold so I dont feel like doing any modelling work. Learned how to unwrap a face today  much, much easier than unwrapping in 3Ds Max.

Spider body shell

Modelling a tank like spider kinda thing, will attach a female torso to the hollow end. Still WIP since didnt have a good enough female head model for usage. Will update this soon with the female torso.
Poly count is huge no thanks to the legs XP
